Whether
you’re a teen
or a parent,
you feel the pressure to
“get it right”.
We live in a world defined by pressure. Pressure to fit in, pressure to succeed, presure to make the right choices, pressure not to screw up, pressure to be the gold standard.
The Teen Clinic is here to help teens kick this pressure to the curb and learn how to finally see their strengths, uniqueness and everything that makes them special. It’s the place where safety is non-negotiable, where anxiety is diminished, and where support is offered in a way you’ve never experienced.
And parents, you’re a part of this too. The truth is, you experience all of the pressures your kids do, only different. Being a parent is a huge responsibility. The Teen Clinic helps you navigate it with confidence to build (or rebuild) your relationship with your teen.
Paige Sparrow, MSW, RSW
Ok, every therapist can say they know what it’s like to be a teen. But every teen knows that just because you were a teen once, doesn’t mean you get it.
Paige is different. Yes, she is an adult. Yes, she is somebody’s mom. But Paige is different from other therapists because she doesn’t tell teens that “it will all get better if you…(feel the feels, focus on school, open up to your parents, just be patient…). There are no textbook responses from Paige.
Paige has dedicated her professional life to making sure teens feel seen, develop their voice and travel this stage of life supported.
And she works with parents too. Helping parents gain the confidence to manage their own anxiety about parenting, to know when to trust their instincts, and to navigate and accept the change in dynamic in their relationship with their teen as it evolves is what Paige does, and does well.
